Find the room you've been missing.
You never stopped being a musician.
You just stopped having people to play with.
StillPlaying matches adult musicians in NYC based on how they actually play — not what they listen to, not who they look like. Open your Room and let us watch.

How it works
Answer 7 questions
Not about your influences or gear. About how you actually play — energy, structure, how often, and whether you've got a space.
Your Jam EQ assembles
Six bands — Genre, Skill, Energy, Structure, Frequency, Space — build your profile in real time. That's your Jam Sheet.
Your Room opens
StillPlaying sits quietly in the background, watching for players whose settings match yours. You don't have to do a thing.
We make the intro
When someone fits, you see their musical shape and they see yours. If both of you are open to it, we exchange first names, instrument, neighborhood. Everything else is IRL.
The Jam EQ
Six bands. Not about taste — about how you actually play. This is your Jam Sheet.
What you won't find here
StillPlaying is not a social network. It is not a dating app for musicians. It is the quietest way to find your next collaborator.
No social feed
No scrolling. No algorithms. No performance.
No photos
You're matched on musical compatibility, not your headshot.
No cold DMs
We make the intro. You don't have to chase anyone.
No daily hustle
Your Room just stays open. Come back when it matches.
How the intro works
When two Rooms match, nobody gets cold-DMed. StillPlaying shows you their musical shape — EQ profile, instrument, general vibe — and they see yours. No names. No photos.
If you're both open to it, we pass along first name, instrument, neighborhood, and one way to say hello. That's the whole handoff. Everything after that happens in a room somewhere in the city.
Musical shape first. Identity second. That's the point.
